Dr. Xufeng Xu is a junior group leader at the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (ISIS), University of Strasbourg. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands (2016–2020), under the supervision of Prof. Gijsbertus de With and Prof. Helmut Cölfen (University of Konstanz, Germany), where he developed advanced analytical ultracentrifugation methods to characterize colloidal nanoparticle interactions at high concentration. He subsequently pursued postdoctoral research at EPFL, Switzerland (2021–2024) with Prof. Francesco Stellacci, shifting his focus toward protein–protein interactions and protein phase separation into biomolecular condensates. He then received a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Postdoctoral Mobility Fellowship to conduct independent research at Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands (2024–2026) with Prof. Evan Spruijt, investigating molecular strategies to modulate biomolecular condensates in vitro. His research has been recognized with several awards, including the Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD scholarship, the SNSF Postdoctoral Mobility Fellowship, and multiple international research grants and conference prizes.
