Biography

 

Guido Pupillo is Professor "Classe exceptionnelle" at the University of Strasbourg and Director of the CESQ and the “Quantum Physics Laboratory” at ISIS. Previously, Guido Pupillo was a post-doc and senior scientist at Innsbruck (2005-2011), after obtaining a PhD at the University of Maryland (2005) for research carried out at NIST. Coordinator of the MSCA COFUND “QUSTEC” and the MSCA ITN “MOQS”, he was awarded a Starting Grant of the European Research Council in 2012 and the Guy Ourisson Prize in 2013. His research interests include atomic, molecular and optical physics, quantum simulations and quantum computing.
