We are delighted to announce the arrival of a new permanent member at ISIS!
Salambô Dago joined the team of Dr Cyriaque Genet (Light-Matter Interactions in Complex Systems) in February 2026 as a CNRS researcher. She obtained her PhD at the Laboratoire de Physique at ENS Lyon, where she worked on the thermodynamics of information under the supervision of Ludovic Bellon and Sergio Ciliberto.
She then joined the University of Vienna as part of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowship in the group of Markus Aspelmeyer, where she worked on feedback control of quantum levitated particles under the supervision of Nikolai Kiesel.
Her current research focuses on the optimal control of levitated nano-objects to investigate energy exchanges and thermodynamics at the nanoscale, spanning the transition from the classical to the quantum regime.
We warmly welcome Salambô to ISIS and wish her every success in this new adventure!
