The Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaires (ISIS) is a highly interdisciplinary and dynamic research institute of the Université de Strasbourg (UNISTRA) & CNRS, founded in 2002 by Prof. J.-M. Lehn (Nobel Laureate in chemistry, 1987), directed by Prof. T.W. Ebbesen during the period 2005–2011, and since January 2012 directed by Prof. P. Samorì. ISIS labs are well equipped with steady-state and time- and spatial-resolved spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS, UPS), state-of-the-art SPMs and electron microscopies, various analytical tools for multiscale physico-chemical characterizations, nano- and micro-fabrication facilities, as well as tools for exploring I-V characteristics of nanostructures, transistors and solar cells fabrication and characterization.
We are looking for highly motivated Post-Doc candidates with a strong background in physical chemistry of 2D materials, to perform groundbreaking research on the fabrication of multifunctional hybrid devices based on 2D materials and supramolecular nanostructures. In particular, we are searching for an outstanding candidate with previous experience in photochemistry.
PhD in chemistry of 2D materials or materials science is needed. The successful candidate will be integrated in a truly interdisciplinary and international group working on multifunctional materials and devices.
